A Record (Address Record)

  1. Eng.
    An entry in your DNS table (zone file) that maps each domain name (e.g. domain.com) or subdomain (e.g. name.domain.com) to an IP Address. In other words, the A record specifies the IP address to which the user would be sent for each domain name. For example, you can have name.domain.com point to one IP address, and other.domain.com point to a different IP address.
  2. Mal.
    Rekod A digunakan untuk membolehkan nama domain kita ditujukan kepada alamat IP tertentu. Contohnya : Jika alamat IP pelayan web kita ialah 255.255.255.255 maka rekod A untuk domain kita haruslah ditetapkan dengan nombor ip 255.255.255.255 . Selain itu, kita juga boleh menggunakan subdomain kita dengan pelayan web yang berlainan. Contohnya, anda boleh menggunakan nama.domain.com dan rekod A untuk sub-domain ini ialah 125.125.125.125 dan rekod A untuk cuba.domain.com ditujukan kepada IP yang berlainan.
